Could be, i've had it from new and don't think that anybody has messed with it, maybe a misstake by the factory.

Yours doesn't look like the fuse box is correctly fitted it should be lower down than that

ROOTING AROUND UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT TODAY I was horrified to find this coudn't understand why ford woul make this with such a small clearance between battery positive and battery negativeManaged to cut away a bit of the seat mounting to make a bigger clearance. This a mk7 swb. might be an idea if other owners check theirs.
